The Beauty Think Tank at FIT’s Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management master’s program presents groundbreaking research on “Beauty ’s Next Frontier.” This comprehensive study, conducted by the class of 2025, examines three transformative forces reshaping the beauty landscape: Artificial Intelligence, where 86% of consumers welcome AI-powered personalization to enhance creativity and deliver tailored experiences; Generation Alpha, a 2.8 billion-strong demographic entering beauty as early as age 6 with $28 billion in spending power; and the Medicalization of Beauty, where 68% of consumers would consider genetic-level beauty solutions as science-backed, preventative approaches gain momentum. Hosted by the new Beauty Center at FIT, this session will provide actionable insights for brands to evolve their retail environments, communications, and product offerings to meet emerging consumer demands.
