Depart for Flam. On the way, discover Stave Church in Borgund, one of Norway's best-preserved wooden churches from the 1100s.

Explore Bergen this morning, including a ride on the Floibanen funicular to the top of Mount Floyen.

DAY 9 • Bergen • Controversial Topic: Salmon farming in Norway • Vik village • Embark ship
After exploring the historic Bryggen, we'll drive to Green Warriors to discuss the Controversial Topic of farm fishing in Norway. Then, we'll meet a local fisherman in the village of Vik. This evening, board your Norwegian coastal voyage ship.

DAY 10 • Coastal cruising
Depending on the time of year, embark on one of three different experiences today: a cruise around Alesund during the spring, sail through Geirangerfjorden in the summer, or a cruise through Hjorundfjord in the fall.

DAY 11 • Trondheim
Tour medieval Trondheim, founded in AD 997, and witness the Archbishop's Palace, Old Town Bridge, and historic 17th-century warehouses.

DAY 12 • Coastal cruising • Bodo • Svolvaer
Dock in Bodo today, and take a discovery walk here before continuing to Svolvaer, a colorful port town framed by towering mountains.

On Day 16, journey to Lapland where you'll be welcomed by a local indigenous Sami family who will introduce you to their herd of reindeer.

Visit Tromso, a university town spanning three islands and the starting point for famous Arctic expeditions.

DAY 14 • The North Cape
Today, we will strike out in pursuit of Europe's northernmost point: the North Cape. Far above the Arctic Circle, the Cape rises 1,000 feet above sea level.

DAY 15 • Disembark ship • Kirkenes • World War II cave shelter visit • Lapland, Finland
Disembark in Kirkenes. Here we'll visit World War II bunkers, including the cave shelter created by Germans during during Kirkenes' occupation. Later, journey south towards Lapland.

DAY 16 • Inari • Sami family • Home-Hosted Dinner
Discover the Siida Museum. Then, visit with a Sami family and learn about the importance of reindeer and their role in the life of the Sami. Later, enjoy a Home-Hosted Dinner.
