JEWERS DOORS has strengthened its growing presence in the US market with the successful supply and delivery of its specialist appliance bay doors for the newly constructed Lowndes County Fire Station # 4 in Georgia.
Working in collaboration with Acousti Doors & Specialties, Jewers Doors supplied eight sets of its Swift fully-glazed doors( SWT-E-FG) for the state-of-the-art emergency response facility.
The electrically operated Swift doors comprise four leaves, with two leaves folding to each side to provide a clear opening. The sideways-opening design has been developed specifically for applications where speed, visibility and operational safety are critical— making it well suited to modern fire and rescue facilities.
With emergency response times often measured in seconds, the doors provide full-height headroom for maximum vehicle clearance, while their fully glazed construction offers clear lines of sight to help enhance operator safety.
Rapid electrical operation also enables fire crews to exit the station quickly and efficiently, supporting a safe and immediate response when an emergency call comes in.
