Our early Defined Code of Practice brought structure to a fast-growing industry - laying the groundwork for BS7036:1988 and raising the bar for safety, accessibility and compliance across new build and the built environment.
Since 1985, we've remained at the heart of standards development - active on BSI and CEN committees, chairing working groups and leading key revisions, including BS7036-0.
