The son of famous racing father, Tarran had a relatively slow burning start to his career. He showed how serious he was in winning the British Supersport Championship in 2016, then following in his father Niall’s tyre tracks when securing the BSB Championship win itself in 2021. A first full WorldSSP season in 2023 saw him take the opportunity the ever-changing weather conditions offered at Autodrom Most, as he won a race despite his bike being short on outright pace. He enters his second WorldSBK season in 2025 looking for greater overall machine performance and consistency.
Possibly the most consistent rider inside the two-man Honda HRC set-up for the past three years, Vierge had made over 100 race starts before the 2025 season had even got underway. He was a proven Moto2 podium finisher before joining WorldSBK. Taking a single WorldSBK podium place on a full factory Honda CBR100RR-R may not seem like a strong record thus far but it is an indication of just how tough it has been for Honda in general in the past few seasons. In his fourth year as a WorldSBK rider, Vierge has long experience of his bike, tyres and the tracks to become an even more potent force overall.
