Gerloff remains a factory rider in 2025 but this time he joins the newly official Kawasaki WorldSBK Team. This is the previous Kawasaki Puccetti Racing team, now promoted to the sole official Kawasaki effort this year. Garrett may still be looking for that elusive first WorldSBK race win, but he has recorded eight podium finishes and one Tissot Superpole ‘win.’ Riding yet another inline four-cylinder machine, after his previous Yamaha and BMW seasons, Gerloff flies the flag as the only regular Kawasaki rider on the grid in 2025, but will be utilising updated full factory KRT material.
Nearly a Moto2 Champion in 2013, a seasoned MotoGP™ rider and a true character who entered WorldSBK in 2020 as the reigning BSB Champion, Redding is what we can safely call a ‘one-off.’ Finishing his first two WorldSBK seasons in second and third places in the title fight (as a factory Ducati rider) he has won 12 career WorldSBK races, part of a season-starting total of 40 podiums. Back on a Ducati in 2025, Redding must be considered an even more serious threat than he was in the last three years aboard a BMW. After all, every one of his WorldSBK wins and all but three of his podium rides have come courtesy of the Panigale V4-R.
