Still not quite 30 years of age, Federico has been racing at a global level for over ten years. He’ s a proven race winner in almost every class he has been in and can be thought of as a true product of the WorldSBK paddock in general. And a true asset, as he is still capable of some top results- like his recent pole position at Cremona.
Riding for the iconic name that is MV Agusta, what does the WorldSBK paddock in general mean to him in 2025?
“ This is my ninth year in WorldSSP and my 12th overall because I was also here for two years in STK600 and one year in WorldSBK. But during Covid … This paddock is like a family. I know everybody, I was in a lot of teams, worked with many, many people. I want to thank this world for what it has given me over the years and I hope to stay for as long as possible at the highest level possible. I hope again, in the future, maybe again in the top class. But, I am ready to fight in WorldSSP through all of this year.”
Non ancora trentenne, Federico corre a livello mondiale da oltre dieci anni. È un pilota vincente in quasi tutte le categorie in cui ha corso, e può essere considerato un vero e proprio prodotto del paddock del WorldSBK in generale. E una vera risorsa, visto che è ancora capace di ottenere risultati di alto livello, come la sua recente pole position a Cremona.
Correndo per l’ iconico marchio MV Agusta, cosa significa per lui il paddock del WorldSBK in generale nel 2025?
“ Questo è il mio nono anno nel WorldSSP e il dodicesimo in assoluto, perché sono stato anche per due anni nella STK600 e per un anno nel WorldSBK, ma durante il periodo del Covid... Questo paddock è come una famiglia. Conosco tutti, ho corso in molti team, ho lavorato con tantissime persone. Voglio ringraziare questo mondo per quello che mi ha dato in questi anni e spero di rimanere il più a lungo possibile ai massimi livelli. Spero magari di poter tornare in futuro ancora nella classe regina. Ma per quest’ anno sono pronto a combattere nel WorldSSP”.
