Amsterdam plays hosts to the world ’ s most important cosmetic ingredients show in April . We take a look ahead
In-Cosmetics Global , the world ’ s largest trade show about cosmetic ingredients , returns at the Amsterdam RAI on 8-10 April . Opening hours are 9.00 to 18.00 on the first two days and 9.00 to 17.00 on the third . Once again , Speciality Chemicals Magazine is among the media partners .
The 1,000 + exhibitors include manufacturers and distributors of raw materials and ingredients , testing labs , fragrance houses , lab equipment makers and other others . By region of origin , they are expected to be similar to 2024 : Europe 60 %, Asia-Pacific 27 %, South & Central America 7 %, North America 3 % and Middle East & Africa 3 %. 178 are exhibiting for the first time . The visitors will be R & D specialists and formulators from major cosmetics manufacturers .
As ever , the show will feature national pavilions bringing together suppliers who offer a range of differing products but come from the same country . This year ’ s pavilions come from France , the UK , Spain , China , Indonesia Brazil , Peru , South Africa and Tunisia .
There are also multiple themed zones , staring with the Sustainability Zone in Hall 11 , showcasing the latest developments and achievements in sustainable beauty . The Testing , Regulation & Lab Zone ( Hall 12 ) highlights offerings to ensure the safety , stability and shelf life of personal care products , plus new developments in lab equipment and measuring devices .

In the Fragrance Zone in Hall 12 , fragrance houses , producers and distributors of extracts and ingredients will showcase their products . The Innovation Zone , meanwhile , features the newest raw materials , with each box displaying an ingredient launched within the last six months dotted across the exhibition .
The 44 products displayed at the Sensory Bar will offer sensory experiences for personal care formulations , ranging from fragrances for hair care , to tastes for lipsticks and textures for moisturisers . Finally the Make-Up Bar will enable visitors to test new make-up formulations , including eye shadows , foundations , nail varnishes and lip lacquers .
The show floor also hosts multiple theatres with free-to-attend presentations over the course of all three days . Full details are on the website . The presentations comprise :
• Marketing Trends , comprising 21 papers and panel discussions about the latest cosmetic industry trends , insights and regulations at a dedicated theatre in Hall 4
• Technical Seminars , comprising 119 presentations from raw material suppliers providing an overview of their latest developments in four theatres in Hall 13
• Formulation Lab , at 6C10 , which is open only to R & D professionals from cosmetic and contract manufacturers and focusing on new formulation techniques , with 14 dedicated presentations
• Sustainability Forum at 11C30 on the first two days
• Testing & Regulatory Forum , at 11C30 on the third day
Finally , the In-Cosmetics Global Awards honour cosmetic science excellence and innovation in ingredients . They recognise ingredients that combine science and product features that deliver substantial benefits to both manufacturers and endusers in 17 discrete categories . ●
