AN INDUSTRY- DEFINING DEAL

EV
Battery Solutions signed a multiyear, $ 205 million deal with Hyundai Motor Group— cementing itself as the leader in EV battery repair and refurbishment and improving the EV customer experience.
The historic agreement between Hyundai Motor Group and EV Battery Solutions was 18 months in the making.
It began with relationship-building— email conversations, virtual meetings, flights to and from South Korea, navigating Korean business customs and establishing trust. It evolved into EV Battery Solutions demonstrating its engineering expertise and capabilities; showcasing its centers in Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, Detroit and Atlanta; asking critical questions; and providing insights into U. S. regulations and protocols.
Hyundai Motor Group is a South Korean conglomerate that owns the car brands Kia, Hyundai and Genesis. The company came to the table looking for a provider to repair battery packs for an increasing number of Kia warranty vehicles in need of service; in EV Battery Solutions it also found a trusted partner to protect its brand and serve as an extension of its operations.
“ This win represents a collective effort across Cox Enterprises, Cox Automotive and EV Battery Solutions,” said Tara Galloway, senior director of enterprise accounts at EV Battery Solutions.“ We built their confidence in our ability to repair and refurbish batteries efficiently and affordably in secure facilities that exceed industry standards. Through education and advice, we solidified their trust in our expertise— which far exceeds the competition and makes us the industry’ s go-to partner for EV service.”
