We’ re shining a light on the difference occupational therapists make when they’ re part of prevention and early intervention, including:
• Social care: ensuring occupational therapy is central to future reform so people get timely, practical support before needs escalate.
• Mainstream schools: highlighting why early occupational therapy involvement must be built into any school reforms, especially for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Housing: showing why housing teams should work with OTs from the start, putting adaptations in place early to prevent urgent, avoidable need.
