ԱՇԽԱՐՀԻ ՀԱՅ ԲԱՐԵՐԱՐՆԵՐԸ ARMENIAN PHILANTHROPISTS OF THE WORLD
ղեցու ավերակների մոտ ու ինքն իրեն խոստացավ ՝ անել ավելին հայրենիքի համար :
Ավելի քան ութսուն աշխարհահռչակ արտիստների համագործակցությամբ ձայնագրված « Պուղ թուա Աղմենի » (« Քեզ համար , Հայաստան ») երգի ( 1989 թ .) ողջ հասույթն ու իրավունքները նա նվիրաբերեց Հայաստանի ժողովրդին :
1990 թ-ին Շառլը նորից Հայաստանում էր , այս անգամ երկու օդանավով ՝ բեռնված 40 տոննա հագուստով : Ազնավուրը բոլոր լրատվամիջոցներում արթնացնում էր մարդկանց խիղճը , ոտքի հանում նրանց և կոչ անում ՝ անտարբեր չլինել Հայաստանի հանդեպ : Գյումրիում նա լուծում է նաև էլեկտրականության հարցը , որի շնորհիվ ՝ երգիչ , երգահան , գրող ու արտիստ կոչումներց բացի , ստանում է նաև « Լույսի Շառլ » անունը :
Այդ իսկ ժամանակահատվածում հիմնադրել է « Ազնավուրը Հայաստանի համար » բարեգործական ընկերությունը , որը շարունակաբար աջակցել է Հայաստանին : 30 տարի շարունակ նրա ջանքերի շնորհիվ երկրում բազմաթիվ բարեգործական ծրագրեր են իրակաlished association- Champs-Élysées 76-78- encouraging people to send what they could to Armenia : injectable antibiotics , medical equipment necessary for blood transplantation and surgeries , covers , electric generators , children ' s shoes , etc .
Before that , he had been to Armenia only once with a solo concert . The following visit aimed to help Armenia , with the 25 thousand dead and hundreds of homeless children by that moment . The plane fully loaded with necessities arrived in Armenia . Charles Aznavour went to Gyumri , stood at the ruins of the Holy Saviour ’ s Church and promised himself to do more for the Motherland .
Aznavour donated all proceeds and rights of the song “ Pour toi Arménie ” ( 1989 ), recorded in collaboration with more than eighty world famous artists to support Armenia ’ s people .
In 1990 , Charles came to Armenia again , this time followed by the two planes loaded with 40 tons of clothes . In media Aznavour called on people to get on their feet and not remain indifferent to Armenia . He also solved the issue of electricity in Gyumri , thanks to which , in addition to the titles of singer , songwriter , writer , actor and artist , he received the name of Light Charles .
In the following years , the Association " Aznavour for Armenia " continued its humanitarian assistance to Armenia .
For 30 years , his humanitarian efforts have made possible the implementation of numerous charitable programs in the country . Charles Aznavour was also involved in the fight against cancer and Alzheimer ' s disease and assisted greatly the victims of the earthquake in Haiti . He always fought against any discrimination through his art and actions .
In order to give a new impetus to this charitable activity , in 2016 Charles Aznavour and his son Nicolas Aznavour announced the creation of the Aznavour Foundation .
The Aznavour Foundation aims at continuing the development and implementation of educational , cultural and social projects initiated by the legendary artist . Another important axis of its mission is to preserve and promote the cultural and humanitarian heritage of Charles Aznavour .
