issues with your vision. I am a person who has been wearing glasses since 6 grade 6, and my myopia is rising more than one diopter almost every single year. The first year, I thought that was just hereditary, but in the second year I started thinking that it was also because I spent approximately two hours on my phone on a daily basis. It is very important to have control over any addiction. And most importantly, you shouldn’ t have any kind of addiction as far as video games are concerned. I know it is hard to stay away from screens these days, because to be honest I am addicted to playing Brawl Stars almost every day!! So, as you can imagine, no one is perfect! What we should also bear in mind is that the environment in video games is not always innocent and friendly. Most of the time, video games have a toxic environment, which includes bullying when chatting with individuals you don’ t know. Bullying can affect the self-esteem of a kid or even that of an adult. Some teenagers think that acting like bullies is acceptable because it makes you feel superior to others but this is not true. Through bullying, the feelings of little kids are getting hurt. Bullying takes place in video games where people can hide their real identities behind a fake username or avatar. They are not brave enough to bully someone in real life. What we need to realize is that we must put a stop to online bullying and create a friendlier environment in video games. After all, if games are meant to bring people together and entertain us, then why should anyone feel afraid or unwelcome while playing them?
