Abstract
THE PROJECT I KNOW - METHODS OF DRAMA PEDAGOGY USED IN CLASSROOM PROJECT
Methods of drama education are the answer to most of the tasks and goals , as well as the outcomes we want to achieve in the teaching process . With my example of practice I will show how I shifted the focus of learning from content to role-play and therefore put the students in the center of teaching . By playing the role , they became not only a part of the process , but also gained a major role , and the content they were supposed to acquire becomes only a part of the learning that is implied or it becomes a tool to make a role better . The “ I Know ” class project consisted of monthly lectures for parents in which the students presented everything they learned over the past month . Once a month , they published their class magazine “ Knowledge Chest ”. Students who needed to learn raw facts for the exam turned into lecturers , photographers , scenographers , quiz leaders , stand-up comedians , storytellers , writers , lecture scientists , creators of mathematical puzzles , choreographers , technicians ... To make the project successful , daily classes were re-imagined and I became a member of a drama group instead of just being a teacher . Keywords : journal , lecture , outcomes , project , roles
