Abstract
THE ROLE OF DRAMA GAMES WITH DOLLS IN DEVELOPING COMPETENCES
Using dolls and cloth stories in educational work is motivational tool and a stimulus to empower and sensitize the child ’ s emotional , social and cognitive development . Games with dolls are good prerequisite for encouraging tolerance , emotional intelligence and empathy . The suggestiveness that comes from the revival of dolls promotes identification mechanisms through which children recognize moods and context of events , and it stimulates their cognitive , fantasy and emotional world . Educational understanding of the meaning of dolls helps children to recognize different abilities like : emotional control , self-esteem , cooperative and pro-social competences . The doll connects all the areas important for optimal development of every child – understanding , movement , speech and coexistence with the environment . It is the way of communicating with the surrounding environment . The doll is stimulating child ’ s imagination and creativity , the two most important components of further development . The experience of using dolls in the educational work shows that the doll is a great motivational tool for the development of key competences of all children .
