A Taste of Chinese Food

By: Jimaeca Redulla

Awesome right? Cooking Chinese Food requires time and effort that surely gives the food more scrumptious and fulfilling.

Let me share this awesome authentic chinese restaurant located at Binondo Manila, which is called UNO SEAFOOD WHARF PALACE, the minute we enter in the restaurant you can feel Chinese ambiance because of the typical round table with lady susan, tea, live seafoods and many fengshui decorations.

We had our appetizer which is siomai, hakaw, bean curd and xiao long bao. Siomai is really good not being biased here because it's my favorite but its good even the hakaw, bean curd taste sweet and xiao long bao, it is my first time to taste it and I found it interesting, it has soup inside the wrapper, then my other chinese friends told me that the proper way to eat the soup dumpling is to sip the soup then eat it. What I did is I ate it all at the same time when I eat it my tongue was burned because of hot soup inside then they are all laughing at me saying "yan kasi ayaw makinig sakin".

Then we had our soup which is bird's nest soup, I know this is a bit expensive because the bird's vomit is hard to get, the soup has balanced texture, creamy and crunchy, we put a little soy sauce to make it more tasty.

Chinese Cuisine is one of the most wanted foods in the world. For me, it is my favorite of all cuisine because besides it is very easy to look for a Chinese restaurant, it will satisfy your cravings for its large servings, you would literally feel that you are full, it is the moment when you finished eating Chinese food then when you stand up, and you can't because of fully loaded stomach.
