SUNDAY, 23RD OF AV:
The Rebbe wrote a letter in which he mentions the importance of Rabeinu Tam’ s Tefillin. It was then known throughout 770 that the Rebbe wished that all Bochurim should put them on. Due to this, many Bochurim started the practice of wearing Rabeinu Tam’ s Tefillin every day after
Davening.
THURSDAY, 27TH OF AV:
At 1:00 pm the Rebbe accompanied by many members of Anash went to the Ohel. Before he left, everyone wrote
Panim to him. On the way the Rebbe was not wearing his Gartel. When he arrived at the Ohel he took out his Gartel that was under his coat and put it on.
While the Rebbe was reading Panim someone started taking pictures. When the Rebbe heard the noise of the camera, the Rebbe motioned to the man to stop! Then the Rebbe lifted up his collar and covered his face.
After reading the Panim and Mayna Loshon the Rebbe started to talk about building the Ohel. He said there should be two rooms. One room should be made for Davening. Another in which to remove one’ s shoes, wash hands and face, etc. The Rebbe continued by saying what the wording of the inscription on top of the door of the Ohel should be. He also said that a gate should be built. It should be just like the gate at the Ohel of the Tzemach Tzedek and the Rebbe MaHaRaSh. That night there was a meeting amongst Anash
