Villa Bianca
Villa Bianca also known as Casa Bianca is the name of a
famous mansion in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. It’s located
on Queen Olga Avenue. It was the creation of the famous
Italian artist Piedro Arrigoni. Its construction started in 1911
and was completed in 1913 by Ntemprelis Tzortzis Siagas
after the city’s liberation by the Greek Army. The building has
elements of eclecticist architecture, like many other buildings
of that period in the city. The house incorporates several
elements from many different styles while stands for its
beautiful balconies and open spaces. Since 2013, it houses the
Municipal Art Gallery.
Useful information
Take bus 3, 5 or 8 and stop at the stop “Casa Bianca”. Villa Bianca is located
just across the road.
