Cancer Centre open!
The new Cancer Centre at Guy’ s opened to its first patients last September, thanks to our wonderful supporters.
An amazing £ 6m has been donated by philanthropists, and more than 3,000 generous patients, families, supporters and staff raised an incredible £ 1.1million to make the Cancer Centre a reality.
The phased opening saw outpatient clinics begin first, followed by chemotherapy treatment in October and radiotherapy in November.
The centre has been designed by patients for patients and brings together most of our cancer services under one roof.

Guy’ s has given me many years more to be with my wife and family. I have just attended my grandson’ s graduation ceremony; unbelievable – when I was diagnosed he was only 11 years old!
Five generations of my family have received marvellous care from Guy’ s Hospital.
