6 Tips for Quick Confidence Boosts
1. Stand Tall.
Posture and body language is directly related to our inner voice. Sub-consciously, your brain is
processing the information your body sends it, and if your body language is small, closed and
reflecting inferiority, your brain starts you on the wheel of self talk that's not conducive to high
confidence levels. There’s a reason why models pose the way they do!
2. Self Talk
On the topics of self talk, it's helpful to become aware of when your self talk turns negative. When
you're aware of a behaviour, you can take steps to change it. So become tuned into your self talk and
change the subject to something more uplifting and empowering. Focus on the positives.
3. Seek Out a Dose of Positivity
When I'm feeling low and negative, I purposely seek out motivational and uplifting content to fill my
brain. Whether it's reading one of your favourite blogs, or youtube channels or your favourite book.
Seek out the words and encouragement from someone who's content is intended to inspire and uplift.
4. Treat Yourself
Often times our low confidence is the result of us being our own lowest priority. Do something for
yourself that makes you feel like a milliion bucks and decide to priorities your 'me-time' above all your
nagging obligations! Whether it's a manicure, or spa treatment, a shopping trip for a new dress, or a
photoshoot, or even if it's just an afternoon off. Treat yourself as a top priority for once!
