5. Stop Comparing, Start Embracing
I hear it all the time! When I'm photographing women, they often say things like "If only I was as
_______ as _____", "If only I had ____'s hair", "I wish I had ____'s body". You know you've done that
too! Who are we kidding? We are not those people. Why can we so easily disregard our own beautiful
traits and wish them away in favour of someone else's?
Stop it, just stop it! With practice, it'll becoming easier to quit. Perhaps we need to start a 12 Step
Program to Stop Comparing.
6. Compliment Others
If you see something in someone else that you love, don't hold onto that thought. If you hold on, it's
more likely to fester and turn into envy. You have to let it out! The best way to do that, is to tell that
person! Give them a heartfelt and sincere compliment! Both of you will feel good afterwards, I
promise!
I hope these 6 Tips help you feel better about yourself This is what I do when my confidence needs a
boost. What confidence building tricks do you have up your sleeve?
