One afternoon, one of the longest afternoons of school, I was sitting at my desk, Listening to the teacher drone on and on about History, Geography, Politics, and whatever you are supposed to learn in Social Studies. BRRRING! The bell rang. YES! School's Out! I thought to myself. "Hold Up!" Mr. G said. Groans of dissapointment filled the room. Mr. G wrote on the whiteboard "Family Tree Project" Huh? "You can go home tonight. Find your parent or gardian and ask them about your family." He said. He passed out sheets of paper and pencils. All of the kids shoved the suplies into their bags. "So your homework tonight is creating a family tree." Mr. G anounced. "I want you to try your hardest on this project. It's not only about school, it's about your family, and your history. I almost yelled BORING! In the middle of class. Although, I did not want detention AGAIN so I kept my mouth shut. Mr. G
Looked at me hard. He Probably knew I was going to half-do the assignment and turn the paper in. I did that all the time in school, which gave me a bad reputation in school. "Okay everyone, Go." Mr.G said. kids flooded out of the classroom and into the halls. I knew Mr.G wanted everyone to stay for 15 more hours, but it is the law that he has to let us go, Thankfully. I was so glad to get out of school. When I got home that day, I threw my 30 pound backpack on the couch. I jumped into the recliner and turned on the T.V. or "Television" as my brother calls it.
