Initial Efforts :
Under the supervision of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon of his area he established a semi-intensive type of dairy farming . He raised fodders like Lucerne , Berseem , CO1 , CO3 , CO4 and PC-23 , etc . in 5 acres of his own land with a bore-well to meet the daily water requirements . He also engaged his family members , in dairy farming to carry out the daily managemental practices .

Health Care and Management :
Mr . Shrihari Goud , follows all scientific managemental practices like deworming , vaccinations ( FMD , HS , BQ , BRUCELLOSIS etc .) from the date of calving . Making use of a chaff cutter avoids wastage of fodder .

Therefore , the calf mortality rate and repeat breeding problem is less than 2 % making the dairy profitable . Because of his efforts , Mr .
