Challenges
Close observation of Mr. Shrihari Goud’s dairy
enterprise reveals a few major challenges that
need to be overcome. The issues that require
intervention are improving marketing channels;
adopting Artificial Insemination technique
instead of natural servicing (to avoid congenital
diseases and use of high quality semen);
avoiding Inbreeding; Silage and Hay Making
(to overcome drought conditions and to get
high productivity); avoiding the middleman;
adopting advanced technique like Milking
Machine; Proper Summer Management (Water
Sprinklers); and ultimately getting good price
for the milk produced.
