friend from when I was at Elevation . We ’ ve stayed really close with her and her husband since I left Elevation . And I ’ ve just always loved her leadership as a worship leader . I ’ ve always loved her voice . Her voice has her tone , and the way that she sings is beautiful , but the way that she carries herself as a leader and a friend is even more special . And so , to have her a part of this record and a part of that song was just such a gift to me , and she carries it so well .
She has the perfect energy and the perfect atmosphere for the way that she leads that song from the get go .
[ WM ] Well , it ’ s a great track , great song So lastly , I know that you have a lot of guitars . So what is your current guitar of choice ?
[ Mack ] Well , it ’ s funny . I used to lead worship from electric all the time , and now I rarely do . So , all of my guitars are my favorite thing , but I rarely play them . Currently what I ’ m playing is a Martin CEO-7 , which is like a small body acoustic . I don ’ t know , I ’ m always drawn to more smaller guitars . For some reason they feel better to me while playing and leading from them . And so that ’ s the guitar that I ’ ve been playing the last couple of years .
I also have a 1954 B-25 Gibson that my Mom got when she was in high school . I don ’ t think she even inherited it to me . I think I just took it from her one day and never gave it back and she didn ’ t ask for it back . ( laughing )
[ WM ] I ’ ve seen that on some older videos . It ’ s gorgeous . Well listen , that ’ s about it for today .
