because my kids have been living with it too, I’ ll be listening to mixes around the place. So now as a result, because my kids have lived with this album for six months or so, they now have, at 8 and 10 years old, have memorized entire chapters of scripture from this just because of the songs. And me too, I don’ t know that I could have necessarily recited entire chapters before. And now because of singing them over and over again, I have them in my spirit and I have them in my heart.
So I hope that it helps people just get scripture into their hearts. I hope that it highlights to them maybe things they haven’ t seen in the scripture before. There’ s a song from Lamentations 3 called“ Because of the Lord’ s Great Love.” And I remember when I was playing that for a couple of my friends at the label, just giving them a taste of obviously“ Even Death on the Cross.” And even that is very different to“ Because of the Lord’ s Great Love.” There’ s lots of different sonic worlds that exist within this record. So playing them that song, and I remember when it was coming out and I was getting so moved and felt to repeat that line that the Lord, in his word discloses where he says,“ He does not willingly bring afflictional grief to anyone.” And then I repeat it again.
And I remember when we were listening to it in the label offices and at the end of it, one of them who’ s been walking with the Lord for decades, he said,“ I have never noticed that in the scripture before.”

anyone. And then I did an interview, I think it was last week with someone, and I mentioned that song again, because I think it’ s a bit of a sleeper. I think it’ ll be one that people discover, but not necessarily an instant favorite. But I was interviewing someone when we were talking about that song and her eyes filled with tears. And then after the interview, she said,“ I’ ve got to tell you.” And I said to her about that song, sorry, I don’ t know how to turn that off. I said about that song, it’ s a very long song, probably a lot of people are going to skip it, but maybe it’ s for one person who needs to know the Lord doesn’ t willingly bring afflictional grief to anyone. And she said,“ That one person is me.” And she said, last year she was in a situation where basically she was on the phone to first responders trying to get to one of her family members in another city, that once they got access to them, discovered that that person was deceased, and she was 40 minutes on the phone to the first responders, she had Lamentations 3 open the entire time and that
