screws hidden under the sizeable individual bridge saddles . I connected the pickup with its rubber inserts into the new T-Bender and installed it with the fresh included screws . I saved the old bridge and screws in case I need it for another Tele . The B and G strings don ’ t go through the body . They connect to two small mounting pins similar to a Bigsby ® vibrato . I had to figure out precisely what each of the three screws on top were for . Once that was done , I adjusted the bars ’ height and got the bent notes perfectly in tune . After setting the other bridge saddles where they should be for intonation , I put both bender arms to a whole step . Overall , if you know how to intonate your guitar , this install is super easy and rewarding . Also , you can push them halfway for a half-step bend with some practice .
MY TAKEAWAY : The T-Bender install is easy . All you need is a Phillips screwdriver . I ’ ve enjoyed experimenting and figuring out the best way to use it . It ’ s very accurate with the stop screw adjustment , even for recording . For House of Worship guys looking for new sounds , it ’ s a great creative tool . With practice , you can do some fantastic country-flavored riffs . I love the ability to add harmonic depth to swells and pad-like ambient parts . That was my original idea , and it ’ s fantastic . It ’ s also taking my slide work to a new level as well . Alternatively , you can move the handles out of the way if you like . If you have a telecaster , you ’ re gonna love it . The ALLPARTS T-Bender sells for $ 299.00 . $ 299.00 allparts . com
