And we get to the bridge and I ' m like , " Guys , why don ' t we just literally list the things that we have seen ? And then say something like , ' Don ' t you tell me he can ' t do it .' Something with some guts that ' s going to make the enemy mad ." And so , we begin to literally list out , what are the things ? And I ' m thinking through the things I ' ve seen in my church where people with cancer in their body have come back from the doctor after we ' ve prayed , with a completely clear report . I ' ve seen families be reunited , families we thought were going to be broken up and ending in divorce and in so much pain , have in the last hour as we ' ve prayed and as we ' ve interceded , have come back together . I ' ve watched addicts become free . I have people in our church that have had metal in their body , and after we prayed , there ' s literally not metal there anymore , for whatever reason .
And so we just begin to bring our stories together and write this collective testimony song . And I feel responsibility after seeing , after experiencing the things that God has allowed me to see . I have a responsibility to now proclaim that and tell the world of that . When you talk about that , it ' s not to brag about what God can do . It ' s to brag about who God is . That is His heart . It ' s not to point to what can His hands do . It ' s to point to , what is His heart , what He is willing to do . What is He still doing
Gratitude today ? Just like the things we read about in our Bible , I want people to know that He ' s alive and moving and doing the very thing . And I think a lot of times , it just takes our awareness of what he ' s doing , and partnering with Him and asking Him to come into our specific situations .
[ WM ] Excellent . There ’ s a song of yours , “ Gratitude ”, that seems to be really catching in the church . I love the lyric :
“ I could sing these songs As I often do But every song must end And You never do ”
Please tell us about the song .
[ Brandon ] We get this idea that if we could do a certain amount , it might please God , or
