Secondly, they are fantastically comfortable. The smaller size is just practical and makes for effortless playing.
Lastly, I think( and I hope) that these guitars open the door for more female players to find their voice inside of music.
[ WM ] The features on this PRS SE P20E are impressive for the price point. All Mahogany construction and your hybrid“ X” / Classical bracing. Tell us the merits of this combination and what kind of tone does it produce?
[ Jack ] The guitar has a unique character because of the combination of its size, materials, and construction. Our bracing pattern allows the top of the guitar to vibrate more freely, so there is a depth, three-dimensionality, and projection in these guitars that belie their size. The all-mahogany construction warms the tone up, keeping a distinct vintage acoustic flavor in play.
[ WM ] For the worship guitarist the addition of the Fishman GT1 pick-up system allows the player to get off of the couch and walk right onto the church platform to lead worship. Or like in our most recent months – the player can live stream right from their actual parlor at home with your SE Parlor P20E guitar. [ Jack ] The Fishman GT1 is a well-balanced, accurate pickup system when integrated into the guitar correctly. It is also an affordable system, which allows us to bring the pickupequipped version to the market at a very attractive price. This is the same pickup system that we have used since we reinvented our PRS SE Acoustic lineup in 2018. We spent a good amount of time road-testing different pickups in different situations, and found the Fishman to be dependable and adaptable to every playing condition, from home recording to arena concerts.
[ WM ] Tell us about the nut width, neck shape, and fretboard materials for this guitar? [ Jack ] While it has a shorter scale length, the parlor neck shape is extremely close to our other acoustics regarding the width, the shape of the carve, and the front-to-back dimensions at the 1 st and 10 th fret. This is also pretty similar to our“ wide fat” electric carve. It is very comfortable and will not feel alien to acoustic or electric guitar players. The nut and saddle are bone and the fretboard and bridge are ebony. This is also the standard configuration for our PRS SE Angeles and Tonare acoustics.
[ WM ] You have added some really nice
