INTERVAL SONG
Matthew will be performing a song called "My Name" during the interval act.
Written himself for his self-titled 2011 debut album, it is a deeply personal ballad that talks about the duality of being himself and the character he plays on TV, as well as maintaining the balance between his personal life and learning to cope with the fame he has acquired through being part of Glee.
"I get so much love and adoration from people," he told Katie Couric in a 2010 interview for CBS's Sunday Morning, "but at the end of the day, I'm by myself." He premiered the song at a solo concert performed at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles in January of 2011.
With a voice full of emotion and a story to tell about coping with his celebrity status, Matthew will light up the stage for the world in Geneva with his talent and passion.
