EXPERT OPINION
First experience in 2014 On the threshold of releasing new versions of standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 , where there is the requirement of Risk Management , we chose the program ‘ Certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager ’, as a first training course . We organized and held it , actually , for ourselves – for the QMC consultants – before offering it to a wide audience in Kazakhstan .
We were also joined by some ‘ bold ’ managers and specialists from our client companies : ALSEKO JSC , Directorate of Corporate Sales – branch of Kazakhtelecom LLP , Corporation Kazakhmys LLP , KazAgroFinance JSC , Holding KazAgro JSC and others . We invited an expert from the United Kingdom – Graeme Parker , as a trainer ; it was his first visit to Kazakhstan .
Training course was provided on very high professional level , trainer was considered to be highly experienced expert in Risk Management . After receiving the results of the exam , it took some efforts to pass the professional experience evaluation procedure and assign the deserved qualifications by PECB experts . All participants of the training course , including all QMC consultants , received certificates on assignment of qualification Certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager .
After this first experience , we set a goal to continue working with foreign trainers , while at the same time forming a team of trainers from among Kazakhstan specialists .
Our impressions and successes during two and a half years As a result , during two and a half years QMC : * Organized and held 12 PECB training courses in Almaty and Astana with 160 participants from 10 Kazakhstan cities : Almaty , Astana , Aktau , Aksai , Atyrau , Balkhash , Karaganda , Kokshetau , Ust- Kamenogorsk and Ekibastuz , and from Bishkek ( Kyrgyzstan ). * Established cooperation with three foreign trainers , certified by PECB – from the UK , Bulgaria and Latvia , two QMC consultants successfully passed the PECB evaluation , and became PECB certified trainers . * Held a certification exam based on the new version of ISO 9001:2015 – ‘ Certified ISO 9001:2015 ’ Lead Implementer for QMC consultants , successfully passing it in October 2015 . * In December 2014 was granted the status of ‘ PECB Gold Partner ’. * Held 10 internationally accredited training courses on Risk Management – ‘ Certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager ’. * Held a training course on Business Continuity Management System ( BCMS ) – ‘ Certified ISO 22301 Foundation ’, which turned out to be the most unique .
Today ’ s opportunities – for you From day to day problems and uncertainties , which you and I cannot influence ( exchange rates , global ‘ reorganizations-shootouts-cross-talks ’), to our profit , we should better focus on the search for new opportunities ; for example , participating in training and exams to obtain and / or confirm professional qualifications .
QMC Training and International Certification Coordinator will recommend the course suitable for you , and provide the necessary information for chosen training course .
If you consider yourself an experienced specialist in a particular field of activities , you can together with the Coordinator select the appropriate certification exam , discuss the plan for preparation and participation in the examination . In this case you will get the ‘ self-study kit ’ for independent preparation without departing from the basic work ; the exam will take from one to three hours , depending on the program selected . After receiving the exam results , the Coordinator may help to fill an application for a certification in the relevant field , where applicable .
