To achieve this course, learners must pass all 3 units and the course project.
National 5
To achieve this course, learners must pass both mandatory units and the course assessment.
Course Assessment comprises an examination plus the following:
Graphic Communication Project – Create/recreate the Preliminary, Production and Promotional graphics for
a manufactured item.

Assessment
National 4
All units will be internally assessed and subject to SQA verification.
National 4 courses are not graded
National 5
Units are internally assessed and subject to SQA verification. The course assessment is externally assessed.
The Course Assessment will provide the basis for grading attainment in the Course award.
