Writing gives one a sense of freedom where you are able to dig within yourself and discern what God is saying. It is important to begin to focus and discern the things that matter and those are the things God wants to deal with. God is calling us to refocus, adjust our lens/spiritual eyesight so we are able to see into the future. Getting revelation requires that one digs their heels deep into the word of God and out of this sacrifice comes revelation. There is so much power in unity and gathering of the body of christ. Scripture tells us in Mathew 18.20 ´For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." We are living in the cutting edge of the history of the church and God wants to move in a mighty way if we surrender our agendas and let him take control of everything. So it is time for the saints of God to be God-focused and God-lead, no matter what the consequences may be. Our prayer must be a hunger to spend more time in prayer and worship and wait for our heavenly Father to lead us.

Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God Romans 8:14

What business are you in?

I am into publishing, and printing. I own and run a business called Bluecode Company Ltd where we publish books for our clients and produce corporate communication materials like fliers, brochures, annual reports, etc. We are also into jingle production for adverts on radio and television and music recording. You mentioned the Leukaemia Project Foundation. What is that about?A group of people including a Leukamia survivor, and other people who have lost loved ones to Leukaemia and two doctors came together to set a foundation with the main objective of raising money to set up a comprehensive haematology centre in Ghana. I am the communications director of the foundation.

Tell us about your ministry

Five (5) years ago, a young intern in my office came to work with a 2- page write-up he had received from God for me. He said he was praying and God gave him A Word for me which he had written down. As I read what was on the sheet, I realised that it was answers to questions I had been asking God. The message included me writing books and teaching from my books and being involved in the women’s ministry. A few weeks later a church women’s group asked me out of the blue to be a speaker in their conference.

My writing started from University where we were required to write stories. I once wrote a children’s story and my lecturer commended me and said I would be a good writer. I must say I didn’t believe him. As part of my school project work, I teamed up with 2 others to publish a book entitled ‘Drugs, Be on Guard’. I also wrote for the

• Career Woman’s magazine,

• Playpen magazine and

• the Bookworm magazine.

Despite all the writing experience, when God called me to write books, I actually felt I was not qualified because as far as I was concerned, I was still a baby Christian. I had to rely fully on God to provide the contents and direction for the first Christian book I wrote.

Where do you find inspiration to write?

My inspiration to write comes first from God. I fully depend on the Holy Spirit for Direction. The Bible is full of stories that can keep you writing your entire life. I also write from situations and circumstances I have lived through and experienced

Then I had a dream in which I was leading a woman who was running from an unknown assailant. I received confirmation and I haven’t looked back. After I wrote the book Hannah’s Testimony, I sensed that God wanted me to start a women’s ministry as well. My initial plan was to hold yearly women’s conference but one day, a lady pastor friend said to me that she believes God wanted me to start a meeting from home. I prayed for a confirmation of that word and it came through another sister who came up to me to say God says to tell me to start a meeting at home.

After that I started holding meetings at home. Hannah’s Testimony has a strong presence on facebook and a website:www.hannahstestimonies.com. The focus of the ministry is to encourage women to look up to God in everything. Apart from the meetings at home, I am also involved in the women’s ministry in my church and also speak to women’s groups as and when I am called upon to.
