When I attended Istituto D’arte of Siracusa and after at Accademia di Belle Arti of Catania. What artists or people have influenced your decision to become an artist? When I was child my father introduced me to art. He was a teacher of Art and sculptor. He said it was a good idea for me to attend at art school and become a teacher. Honestly, at the time I did not think about art, but I did what he advised me. During my years at the Institute of Art, I started to love art and I discovered I was very good at. What inspires you? The female body. I think it is an expression of the perfection and harmony of nature. I love the curves and lines that convey the atmosphere of melancholy. My figures may also reflect my ideal or, some say, are autobiographical. Where do you paint? I paint at my house. I have a room dedicated to my passions - there you can see my collection of dolls, some pieces of art by contemporary artists that I admire, a large work table and an easel.
