Middle School
Volleyball
The middle school volleyball team had a 6–7 record this
season. The team was coached by Zuhair Alsaegh. Zuhair
said, “The team did really well this season. Even though
our team lost more matches than they won this season,
they actually won more individual games 21–14. Our losing matches were usually close (1–2) , but our wins were
decisive (3–0).”

Middle School Football
Conference Champion
Like the varsity WSD football team, the middle school team had
a very good season, with 6 wins and 2 losses. Also, like the high
school football team, the middle school team won its conference
championship. WSD defeated Abundant Life Christian School
40–28 to win the first ever middle school football championship
for WSD. One of the middle school players, Zominique Walker,
said it was one of the greatest days of his life. He hopes his team
will continue to win when he goes on to high school.
