November 14 – JP Tarbutton, associate counsel at the LHM Company, was named the Corporate Counsel of the Year by Utah’ s Minority Bar Association. The award goes to a corporate counsel who demonstrates exemplary commitment to advancing ethical legal practice and supporting the civil, economic and social interests of underrepresented populations.
November 14 – The Los Angeles Angels announced the hiring of Keith Johnson as the team’ s new third base coach. The 2025 season marked Coach Johnson’ s tenth year as manager of the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees and his 18th season as a coach within the Angels organization.
November 20 – Major League Soccer released its 2026 season schedule footprint, which revealed that RSL and America First Field are scheduled to welcome global soccer icon Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF to Utah for the first – and perhaps only – occasion on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

November 26 – Community members gathered for the first-ever GENTRI Give Back Concert, part of the Larry H. Miller Season of Service. Nearly 80 local nonprofits and more than 2,000 community members came together to enjoy a holiday performance by GENTRI and celebrate the spirit of giving. Courtney Hawks and Gail Miller kicked off the performance with a few remarks.
December 3 – The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation launched its first-ever 12 Days of ImpACT, an initiative highlighting 12 organizations across Utah that are doing meaningful work to improve the lives of others. The initiative also encouraged
individuals and communities to take action themselves and find ways to make an impact in their own communities.
December 3 – Advanced Health Care of Nashville partnered with two nonprofit organizations in Tennessee – St. Luke’ s Community House and The Store – to fund meals for individuals struggling with hunger in the Nashville area. This support will provide 2,941 meals for families, seniors and individuals in Middle Tennessee. Both organizations play essential roles in ensuring that those facing hardship can access healthy food with dignity and compassion.
December 7 – Heidi Miller, the USS Utah Legacy Ambassador, spoke at the 84th Anniversary USS Utah Memorial Ceremony, emphasizing the continued remembrance of the USS Utah( BB-31) battleship lost at Pearl Harbor and honoring the 58 crewmen who perished, with her remarks focusing on keeping their sacrifice alive, especially with a newer nuclear submarine( SSN 801) also named Utah. Her role highlights themes of historical continuity, duty, and honoring the fallen, particularly as the first USS Utah’ s hull remains a memorial at Pearl Harbor.
