October 16 – Cosmic Baseball announced that The Ballpark at America First Square would be one of its 2026 tour destinations. The Cosmic Chili Peppers and The Glow Mojis will face off under black light at The Ballpark in April 2026
October 16 – The Larry H. Miller Summer Games, in partnership with Southern Utah University and Special Olympics Utah, announced SOUT University, a new educational initiative that allows Special Olympians to earn college credits. Educational topics and classes are selected by the Special Olympics Utah Athlete Leadership Council to prepare participants for the workforce and enhance their cognitive and daily living skills.
October 18- Gail Miller and other Miller family members visited Brigham Young University in Provo to tour the newly upgraded Miller Park baseball and softball complex, which features a plaque honoring Larry and Gail’ s connection to the park. While there, Gail Miller also lit the“ Y” as part of the BYU vs. the University of Utah football game.
October 28 – Amanda Covington, chief corporate affairs officer at the Larry H. Miller Company, was a featured speaker at the South Valley Chamber’ s Women in Business Luncheon, where she shared her career story, spoke of her views on what makes an effective leader and how she finds balance as a working mother.
The conversation was moderated by Laura Klarman, a childhood friend of Amanda’ s, who now works in communications at Intermountain Health.
November 1 – Swig celebrated the conclusion of the 5th annual Save the Cups campaign, which raises money to help women battling breast cancer cover their medical expenses. Thanks to customers across the country, Swig raised $ 500k – nearly doubling the amount raised in 2024.
November 3 – Greg and Heidi Miller partnered with the Sherry Black Foundation to host a three-day symposium for law enforcement officers on investigating cold cases. Over 150 participants from 19 states and Canada traveled to Utah to learn about the latest in digital technology, forensic investigative genetic genealogy, strategies for prosecuting cold case homicides, investigating staged crime scenes and examining criminal behavior.
November 5 – Driven 2 Teach, a program sponsored by Zions Bank and the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, received the Utah Historical Society Outstanding Achievement Award. In 2025, Driven 2 Teach took more than 60 teachers on immersive learning trips to historic sites across the country, including locations connected to Lewis and Clark, the American Revolution, and Utah history— bringing the past to life for educators and their classrooms.
November 7 – The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation committed $ 100,000 to Salt Lake City’ s Westside Flood Recovery Fund to support residents impacted by severe flooding in October. In addition, Larry H. Miller Real Estate contributed $ 25,000 in building materials to assist with home repairs, helping families begin the recovery and rebuilding process.
November 7 – Community leaders, Miller family members, partners, and supporters gathered in Sandy to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking of the new Sandy Community & Recreation Center— an
