TCS MIRAN MARIC AND JARRED BLACK NAMED TO AUTOMOTIVE NEWS' 40 UNDER 40 RETAIL LIST Miran Maric, vice president of digital strategy for Larry H. Miller Dealerships, and Jarred Black, store manager of Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood, were recently named to Automotive News’ 40 Under 40: Retail which recognizes dynamic individuals in automotive dealerships under the age of 40. “Miran has risen through the ranks at a rapid rate based on his exceptional understanding of the digital marketplace,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president of Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “As more and more consumers’ purchasemaking decisions are influenced in the online space, we’re pleased to have someone as talented as Miran directing our group’s online strategy.” Miran joined Larry H. Miller Dealerships in 2013 and is responsible for hiring, training and developing an in-house digital marketing team for 54 dealerships in seven western states. Prior to joining LHM Dealerships, Miran served as national digital marketing manager for Chrysler Group LLC. He began his career in the mobile industry converging pico projector technology within a mobile device. Miran graduated from the University of Arizona with bachelor’s degrees in economics and business administration. Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood Store Manager, Jarred Black, is among those young managers leading cultural change in dealerships driven by techsavvy consumers who want a fast, transparent buying experience. “Jarred has shown himself to be a leader who is committed to excellence for his employees, customers and community,” said Dean Fitzpatrick. “He’s very deserving of this award and we’re proud to have him as a member of our team.” Jarred joined Larry H. Miller Dealerships in 2012 as the used car manager for Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota and assumed his current role as store manager for Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood in 2013 at the age of 27. He oversees all aspects of store operations and the store’s 60 employees. Jarred began selling cars at the age of 18, and worked his way up through several dealerships. He attended Eastern Arizona Junior College. Automotive News evaluated nominations from across the U.S. and Canada and identified the top performers in a large field of high-caliber talent at dealerships.
