Miller (LHM) Charities helps our organization give back to the communities where Miller companies conduct business. TDR and TCJ dealership employees present a check to Adrianna Arrington and Paula Tellez with Old Pueblo Children’s Services. Donations are provided to nonprofit groups that assist women and children in the areas of health and education. In Boulder, Colorado, a contribution made to Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) went toward a summer camp that serves children and teens with neuromuscular diseases. In the Denver region, a donation to Operation Outreach-USA provided books to students at Coronado Elementary School. A grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver was given to the J. Churchill Owen Club for its Power Hour program, which helps at-risk youth. Support provided to Old Pueblo Children’s Services in Tucson, Arizona, benefited neglected and abused children staying at the nonprofit’s group homes. A donation to Special Olympics Arizona went toward its Young Athlete’s Program, which focuses on helping children ages 2 to 7 who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Funding granted to Eve’s Place (Phoenix, Arizona) assisted domestic violence victims with rent and utility expenses. In Utah, several charities located in the Salt Lake City area received aid. A grant to Wasatch Community Gardens supported the City Roots program, which teaches underprivileged youth about nutrition and how to grow fresh food. A donation to Splore offered disadvantaged and disabled youth outdoor recreation opportunities. A contribution to And Justice for All provided low-income victims of domestic violence with free legal assistance.
