Megaplex Luxury Renovations
November also marked the completion of another luxury makeover , this time at the Megaplex Sunset location in St . George .
Earlier in the year , the team completed similar luxury renovations two other Megaplex locations , the first in Centerville and the second in Vineyard , Utah .

latest entertainment hub will be located next to the new Bees ballpark at America First Square at Daybreak in South Jordan . The new Megaplex concept is slated to open in summer 2025 .
Two similar Megaplex concepts have also been announced for the St . George area at The Paseo and Desert Color .
LEADING THE NATION AT THE BOX OFFICE
Among the more than 4,000 movie theatres in North America , Megaplex outperformed the competition nationally and locally for several of the biggest films of the holiday season . Thanksgiving was especially busy with Megaplex earning several top 10 national rankings for multiple films including Wicked , Moana 2 , Red One , and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever .
As the 26th largest theatre chain in North America , Megaplex managed
to jump to the top 10 for attendance on Thanksgiving day , outperforming larger competitors with two or three times the number of locations .
Several key factors contributed to the Megaplex success throughout the holiday season , including a magical
influencer event just before the official opening of Wicked . More than 50 “ popular ” social media influencers and local television personalities attended a VIP screening of Wicked at Jordan Commons , along with special guests , many dressed in fashions from the movie . The event generated dozens of pieces of social content and nearly 11 million in potential social media reach .
A few days later , Polynesian performers entertained guests at multiple Megaplex locations to celebrate the opening of Moana 2 . For each of the big holiday movies , guests enjoyed movie themed merchandise , popcorn and drink cups , as well as specially themed food , beverage , and dessert choices .
