LHM Voices Survey Results :
Opportunities for Improvement and Celebration
Employees across the Larry H . Miller organization participated in the annual LHM Voices survey , which is designed to measure employee satisfaction . This survey , conducted by Qualtrics in May , is designed to help company leadership gain insights into what drives employee satisfaction across the organization .
“ Employee engagement is a critical aspect of any successful organization . The employee feedback we received from the LHM Voices survey identified areas for improvement as well as opportunities to celebrate what we ’ re doing well ,” said Michelle Smith , chief people officer , as she shared the survey results at the LHM Summit .
The survey had 50 % response rate , with over 2,000 employees sharing their thoughts on various aspects of the company . “ This is one of our most important employee engagement events ,” said Steve Starks , CEO of the LHM Company . “ We had an opportunity to share perspectives , opinions , and ideas regarding what ’ s going well and growth areas that enabled us to become an even better place to work .”
Nearly 90 % of employees said they found satisfaction in their job and feel a sense of pride in their work accomplishments .
There were also increased satisfaction scores in the area of workplace benefits . This is a testament to the hard work and effort of the People & Culture leadership across the company in developing a benefits strategy that aligns with the needs of their employees and families .
There were also opportunities for improvement , particularly in areas centered around immediate manager relationships and communication . Effective one-on-one meetings and support through change and evolution were identified as key areas for development .
This year ’ s survey also gave employees a voice in the way they serve others . Over 70 % of those who took the survey expressed a desire to volunteer with non-profit community programs that are of personal interest to them .
New Ways to Give Back and Serve
