Idaho Health Care workers climb and shine in the mud
The team at Advanced Home Health and Hospice of Northern Idaho believe supporting the community means rolling up their sleeves getting a little muddy, both figuratively and literally. On August 23, the team proudly sponsored and participated in the LC Valley Down and Dirty Mud Run, a regional mud run and obstacle course race to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
The course was a 3.1-mile trek through mud pits, climbs and splashes. For the Advanced team, it doubled as a unique team-building opportunity where they pushed through obstacles together, cheered each other on, and crossed the finish line side by side.
While they came away covered headto-toe in mud, they also carried home something more lasting: connection with the community they serve.
Connecting community, service and command
Corina Nelson, vice president of operations and corporate events at Miller Sports + Entertainment, was inducted into the 388th Fighter Wing Honorary Commanders Program at Hill Air Force Base.
The purpose of the Honorary Commanders Program is to build lasting relationships between community leaders, who get to learn more about the Air Force’ s mission and capabilities, and the local bases of the United States Air Force.
Corina will serve alongside Major Ryan Sheikh, commander of the 4th Fighter Generation Squadron, for the next two years. In her role, she’ ll engage with the airmen and families who drive the mission forward, gaining firsthand insight into their work and supporting the vital connection between the wing and our local community.
The 388th Fighter Wing plays a critical role in maintaining the combat readiness of the F-35A Lightning II fleet along with nearly 2,000 airmen, 78 aircraft and a mission that spans the globe.
Icing on the cake: Celebrating 25 years of company service
Kristen Speakman Gast recently celebrated her 25-year work anniversary with Miller Sports + Entertainment. For her entire career with MSE, Kristen has been an executive assistant, first to the president of Megaplex and now to Ashley Havili, vice president of marketing. Kristen is an incredible teammate and exemplifies the LHM values of hard work, integrity, service and stewardship. To mark the special occasion, the MSE team threw an anniversary celebration in her honor.
