May 4 , 2024 – Larry H . Miller Megaplex Theatres was one of the only theatres in the United States to host a Star Wars movie marathon in honor of May 4 . Star Wars fans packed into Jordan Commons at Megaplex Theatres for a 24 + hour showing of 9 movies ready to travel to a galaxy far , far away .
May 10 , 2024 – Amanda Covington , Chief Corporate Affairs Officer , was a judge for Utah Business ’ 30 Women to Watch 2024 cohort . She was also the keynote speaker at the event to honor this powerful group of women .

May 11 , 2024 – Destination Homes launched Trailside , a brand-new community in Layton , UT . Phase 1 is being built , and a handful of homes , including three model homes , have been finished . This community will feature condos and amenities such

May 17 , 2024 – Eric Carlson , CFO at Larry H . Miller Real Estate , participated in a Utah Business roundtable discussing Utah ’ s commercial real estate market . Participants discussed the impacts of employment and wage statistics , the possibility of another Winter Olympic Games , fluctuating interest rates and more .
May 21 , 2024 – Larry H . Miller Real Estate won the Developer of the Year Award from NAIOP Utah . To celebrate this achievement , the LHM Real Estate team and NAIOP spent the evening with the Salt Lake Bees at Smith ’ s Ballpark .
May 23 , 2024 – Gail Miller was inducted into the University of Utah ’ s David Eccles School of Business Hall of Fame for her distinguished business career and achievements .
For decades , the Miller family and the Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation have partnered with the University of Utah to make higher education more accessible through various scholarship and leadership opportunities .
June 21 , 2024 – Swig celebrated the opening of its 75th store nation wide and its first location in the state of Tennessee . They marked the milestone with a weekend-long , free drink celebration in Alcoa , TN , proving that Swig fans can be found across the country .
