BUILDING BRIDGES AND COMMUNITIES
Taking inspiration from the poem“ The Bridge Builder” by Will Allen Dromgoole, the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation 2024 Impact Report highlights the importance of stewardship and bridge building in philanthropy— thoughtfully managing resources to close gaps, connect people, and create pathways to guide future generations forward. This commitment to bridge-building is rooted in the very mission of the Miller Family Foundation. The poem featured on the back cover of the report, about an old man who builds a bridge for those following in his footsteps, is a favorite of the Miller family and one that company founder Larry H. Miller used to illustrate the importance of looking to the future and the stewardship each of us has to those we mean to lead and serve.
