Advanced Home Health & Hospice provides services that play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive compassionate care in the comfort of their homes . The Home Health service involves a team of skilled professionals , including registered nurses ( RN ), physical therapists ( PT ), occupational therapists ( OT ), speech therapists ( ST ), and medical social workers ( MSW ), who collaborate with patients and their caregivers . This team effort aims to help patients regain , and sometimes surpass , their previous levels of independence following acute health incidents or significant declines in their condition .
The Hospice care service focuses on enhancing the quality of life for patients facing the advanced stages of chronic conditions . Shifting the focus from curative treatments to symptom management and comfort , the Hospice care also extends support to the patients ’ families , offering guidance and consolation during and after the patients ’ journeys . new Hospice agencies , all poised to receive federal accreditation . This expansion will extend the company ’ s footprint across three states , with new locations in Nashville , TN ; Lehigh Valley , PA ; Cleveland , OH ; and Cincinnati , OH . The organization is nearing an impressive milestone with an average daily census of 500 hospice patients and aims to achieve 1,111 home health admissions in a single month — a significant increase from the high of 952 admissions recorded in January 2020 . Particularly noteworthy is Advanced Hospice of Kansas , which recently reached an average daily census of 100 , marking a record in patient census for the company .
