Diversity and Inclusion Panel
Expert panel adds insight and instruction to LHM Group
As part of the Larry H. Miller Group’s
continuing series of conversations and
training about inclusion and diversity, a
panel of highly accomplished senior leaders
was assembled on November 6, 2018, to have
an open discussion about building an inclusive
work environment. Moderated by Denise
Roberson, CEO of Jadi Communications, the
panel consisted of Dr. Rochelle
Stevens, a two-time Olympic gold
and silver medalist; Paxton Baker,
minority owner of Major League
Baseball’s Washington Nationals;
Dr. Ruth Watkins, president of the
University of Utah; and our own
CEO Clark Whitworth.
Nearly 400 employees,
management, and guests gathered
at the Megaplex Theatres at Jordan
Commons to hear the panelists
share their experiences and insights
and how that translates into fostering a culture
of inclusion within the work environment and
our communities. The special presentation was
concluded with remarks from Gail Miller, who
praised the panelists for their candor and vision.
