Sept. 23, 2018: The Utah Jazz announced that the team had added Barnett Frank as the director of performance science to its performance health care staff . September 24, 2018: Swire Coca-Cola, USA will continue to be the exclusive soft drink provider at Vivint Smart Home Arena, home of the Utah Jazz. The new five-year deal between LHM Sports & Entertainment and Draper-based Swire Coca-Cola will see Coke products served at all events at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. September 28, 2018: An exclusive Utah Jazzbranded Nike Team Store opened at Vivint Smart Home Arena. October 1, 2018: Prestige Financial Services announced it had completed its 16th rated term securitization, issuing $407,830,000 in securities backed by $437,349,686 in automobile installment receivables. Oct. 10, 2018: The Utah Jazz announced that it had exercised its third-year team option on guard Donovan Mitchell for the 2019–20 season. The team also exercised its third-year team option on center Tony Bradley for the 2019–20 season. October 12, 2018: The Salt Lake City Stars announced it would host three games at Vivint Smart Home Arena during the 2018–19 season: the team’s Nov. 6 home opener vs. Texas; Dec. 13 vs. Northern Arizona; and Feb. 8 vs. Santa Cruz. C H R I S T M A S C A R O LE October 12, 2018: Jazz guards Grayson Allen and Raul Neto hosted an all-girls basketball clinic at West High School for 60 players from area high schools. The all-girls clinic aims to inspire the next generation of girls to play basketball in a positive and healthy way. October 16, 2018: Mountain America Credit Union announced it was extending its 14-year collaboration on the Pass It Along program with the Utah Jazz and LHM Sports & Entertainment. October 20, 2018: The Salt Lake City Stars selected veteran NBA center Willie Reed with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA G League Draft. Oct. 31, 2018: The Independent Magazine’s 25th annual Best Of issue named LHM Liberty Toyota Colorado Springs to its list of best dealership service locations. Nov. 1, 2018: The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Nike announced an expansion of their existing partnership that will make the league’s off icial oncourt apparel provider the presenting partner of the NBA Mexico City Games for the second consecutive season. November 1, 2018: The Utah Jazz and jerseypatch partner Qualtrics announced this season’s campaign to raise funds for cancer research via Qualtrics’s 5 For The Fight Foundation. November 6, 2018: Utah Jazz forward Georges Niang hosted a turkey giveaway at Utah Community Action Head Start. Niang, who helped with the distribution, along with Ricky Rubio and Naz Mitrou-Long, purchased 200 turkey certificates for families in need.
