Th e Salt Lake City Stars, the offi cial NBA
G League affi liate of the Utah Jazz, also enjoyed
a successful season on the court with its fi rst
winning season and playoff berth, and off the
court with record attendance in the club’s third
campaign in Salt Lake City.
Th e Stars fi nished 2018–19 with a 27–23
(.540) record. Th e team improved by 11 wins
compared to last season, which was tied for the
largest season-over-season improvement in
the NBA G League this year. Th e team hosted
47,794 total fans at its home games this season,
including a franchise record 7,455 at the home
opener at Vivint Smart Home Arena. ◆

he Utah Jazz reached the NBA Playoff s
for the third straight season for the fi rst
time since 2009–10, with a record of
50–32. Under head coach Quin Snyder, the Jazz
notched a 50-win season for the 16th time in
franchise history. Th e Jazz rank sixth in NBA
history for most 50-win seasons.
Every Jazz home game at Vivint Smart
Home Arena was sold out for only the fi ft h
time in franchise history. Th ree Jazz players are
fi nalists for NBA seasonlong awards with Rudy
Gobert for Defensive Player of the Year, Donovan
Mitchell for the NBA Cares Community Assist
Award, and Kyle Korver for Teammate of the Year.
