Downtown Gets
an Upgrade
Completion of $35 Million Spokane Construction
T
he multimillion-dollar reconstruction of Larry H. Miller Dealerships’
three downtown Spokane stores reached completion this month with
the March 28 grand opening celebration at the 40,753-square-foot
Larry H. Miller Downtown Honda Spokane (LHM Downtown Honda).
The grand opening was held from noon–2 p.m. and featured an open
house, where customers had the opportunity to tour the facility and
enjoy entertainment and lunch. Spokane Mayor David A. Condon was in
attendance, as well as representatives from Honda and the Larry H. Miller
Group of Companies.
During the $35 million rebuild of the three downtown Spokane stores,
the Honda dealership swapped locations with the Toyota store and now
sits on two acres at 1208 W. 3rd Avenue. The new building features the
Generation 3 Honda Design.
At the grand opening ceremony, Ray Onorato, zone sales manager
from American Honda Motor Company, announced that LHM Downtown
Honda Spokane has received the Honda Environmental Leadership
Platinum Award, the company’s highest level of achievement related to
commitment to the environment. ◆
