June 1 , 2016 - Kristen Kenney , who has worked on assignments for NBC , CBS Sports , FOX Sports and ESPNU , has joined the Utah Jazz television broadcast team as a sideline reporter for the 2016-17 season .
June 2 , 2016 - The Salt Lake Bees announced several promotions . In addition to his role as director of baseball operations , Bryan Kinneberg , will now also serve as assistant general manager . Kevin Dalton has been promoted to vice president of marketing . Brady Brown is now marketing and promotions manager , and Brady Hackmeister has been named graphic designer .
June 2 , 2016 - Miller Management Corporation ( MMC ) announced two promotions and one new position . David Smith , executive vice president of operations / mergers and acquisitions , was promoted to chief operating officer . Michael Wankier , executive vice president of finance , was promoted to chief financial officer . Eric Bennett was hired as vice president of treasury . Bennett spent the previous seven years with EnergySolutions working in finance and operations .
June 3 , 2016 - Dan Knight was promoted to vice president of facilities operations for Vivint Smart Home Arena . Knight has worked at the arena since the building opened in 1991 .
June 7 , 2016 - It was announced that Utah Jazz players Danté Exum and Joe Ingles along with manager of basketball strategy / technology Zach Guthrie would participate in the first Basketball without Borders ( BWB ) Asia Camp in Australia . The camp was held June 23-26 at Dandenong Basketball Stadium in Melbourne .
June 7 , 2016 - USA Basketball announced that Utah Jazz guard / forward Rodney Hood was among 25 players chosen for the 2016 USA Men ’ s Select Team . The team will train July 18-21 with the 2016 USA Basketball Men ’ s National Team during training camp in Las Vegas , Nevada .
June 8 , 2016 - The Arizona Republic and azcentral . com announced that LHM Dodge Ram Avondale had been recognized on its list of 2016 Top Companies to Work for in Arizona . It was the only new car retailer named to the list .
June 13 , 2016 - For the 10th consecutive year , the Salt Lake Bees were in the top 25 of Minor League Baseball merchandise sales . Fanzz Sports Stores , the official team store of the Salt Lake Bees , operates as the top-selling Bees brand provider .
June 14 , 2016 - BYU Management Society honored the Utah Jazz and former Jazz Head Coach Frank Layden at its 23rd Annual Distinguished Utahn Award Gala , which was held at Vivint Smart Home Arena . Larry H . Miller was a recipient of the Distinguished Utahn Award in 2003 .
June 22 , 2016 - Representatives from Larry H . Miller Dealerships in New Mexico presented donations totaling $ 24,000 to four local charities including Camp Invention ($ 3,000 ), Locker # 505 ($ 6,000 ), Albuquerque Rescue Mission ($ 10,000 ) and Haven House ($ 5,000 ).
