LHM DODGE RAM AVONDALE NAMED TOP WORKPLACE
Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale was recognized by The
Arizona Republic and azcentral.com on its list of 2016 Top
Companies to Work for in Arizona, the only new car retailer
named to the list.

general manager, LHM Dodge Ram Avondale.
LHM Dodge Ram Avondale was recognized for its employee
incentive programs, flexible work schedules and community
involvement. The dealership’s holiday bonus program,
employee appreciation celebrations, quarterly onsite blood
drives and Saturday lunches received mention.
Companies that participated in the “Top Companies to Work
for” program completed a two-part assessment process
conducted by the independent workplace research firm, Best
Companies Group (BCG). Part one of the process was the
Employer Questionnaire, where BCG asked about benefits, HR
policies and the fun things employers do for their employees.
Part two was the Employee Engagement and Satisfaction
Survey, which measured the employee experience in nine
core focus areas: leadership and planning, corporate culture
and communications, role satisfaction, work environment,
relationship with supervisor, training, development and
resources, pay and benefits and overall engagement. Using the
combined data from both parts of the survey process, BCG
determined the top 100 organizations that made the grade.
The 100 “Top Companies” were honored at an awards breakfast
reception on June 7, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix and
were published in a special supplement in the June 12 issue
of The Arizona Republic, as well as online at topcompanies.

GAIL MILLER SHARES THE COMPANY'S STORY
From the very beginning, Larry H. Miller had the philosophy:

creative help from Saxton Horne Communications, began
airing 30-second television commercials in which Gail Miller
shares insight into “Where We Began” and “Why We’re Still
Growing.” The heartwarming spots touch on the heritage
and the values that LHM Dealerships strives for daily. The
commercials are airing in many of the automotive television
markets.
Paul Nygaard, senior vice president of marketing, talked
about the impact the ads are having: “The commercials have
been very well received. Gail’s honest and open description
of why we’re in business, as well as our focus on enriching
lives, strike a resonate chord with consumers. In the end, our
culture is our ultimate competitive advantage.”
